A richer 3-D vision

At the Society for Neuroscience meeting in San Diego California, Kristine Krug led a symposium that brought together the latest thinking on mammalian vision in a 3D world. A common theme among the contributors was how common mechanisms of neuronal circuitry for binocular vision are specifically adapted to the ecological niches that are occupied by different animals.
